Worthing - Volunteer Gardener for Guild Care
About the Role
To help the Gardener with the upkeep and presentation of the grounds and external areas of Guild Care’s Care Homes and Head Office.
What will I be doing? - Tasks & Duties
- General gardening duties
- Watering
- Tidying up
- Weeding
- Maintaining shrubs, trees, and flower beds
- Trimming and pruning
- No use of power tools is required.
Times and commitment
Any amount of time that you can dedicate to this role would make a huge difference to a resident’s and service users lives – even if it is 1 hour per week!
Support Offered
You will be supported by the volunteering team and our head gardener who may leave you jobs. Depending on your role there will be some training/ induction that we ask that you complete.
